This is a base material. Cut out the same shape of this and then put some epoxy in the core shot. Drop the piece of base material into it. Have a board of wood about the width of your board, and at least the length of the core shot. Take the wood and using several clamps, clamp it to your board over the core shot. Be sure to have even pressure over the core shot. This will act as a "press" so the base material will bond properly.
Once you have done this check for any spaces in the bond, if you find any drip normal Ptex in there and do what you would normally do to level out the Ptex.
