Are moguls really that hard? or do most snowboarders just complain a lot? Because I skied with two of my snowboarder friends for the first time and all we did were bumps and trees.
Once you learn how to ski them, it's sooo much fun. I was on a mogul team for a bit and I miss having access to a nice course on the reg. Now I only shred the camp course in the summer. It's an unbroken line of something like 300 vertical feet. Still haven't cleaned the whole thing.
I don't enjoy them as much as many aspects of skiing, but they're still super fun once you can find a good rhythm. To be honest, I think they're a huge aspect of being a good skier. If you can keep it together going mach-chicken through a bump field, it will add a lot to the rest of your skiing.
I went skiing with another skier and a snowboarder, and we bombed this rutted out run at like 4:30 in the afternoon, we got to the bottom and me and the the other skier were so stoked and high fived and the snowboarder came over a couple of seconds later and said that was the shittest thing he's ever done
