I can kinda see where the judges are coming from scoring Marks run badly, he was really sloppy on the rails. He didnt look in control at all until he came down to the jumps, and i think that if you suck at the top half of the course, you shouldnt get a good score-Easy as that.

you said comp skiing is our sport.. skiing is our sport and competitions are a small part of it. i dont see how this will ruin anything, if anything it will help drive more people to ski, increase ski sales, giving vendors the money they need and helping small local ski shops do business. Im okay with crowded mountains as i know where to go at my home mountain to escape the joeys.

yeah cuz i would much rather see a super stylie 3 win than a triple 14 any day.  also....whoever can ski the downhill course with the most "style" should win over any idiot that tries to go fast...
