I'm simply calling attention to the fact that Russia is a dump and how crazy it is that the accommodations over there are apparently absurd. You'd think they'd get their shit together, at least within a 20-30 mile radius of where the games are going to be.

It seems kind of fucked that it seems to be a hollow prop of a town, but I'm fairly certain most modern Olympic games are like this. The city props itself up and the world is only allowed to see a small fraction of the reality. It's all about framing.

Yea, it's the Olympics. Arguably the biggest sports event there is. Also, not only is freeskiing a sport in it for the first time, there's a lot of controversy going around it this year.
