So today I went out with some friends to build a jump and mess around for a while. I tried a front flip, got about 3/4ths of the way around and landed on my tails and butt. I unfortunately couldn't try again because one of the toe pieces of my bindings twisted out of place... Like the piece of the binding that holds my boot in rotated about an axis parallel to my skis... just look at the photos at the end. I was pissed for a while, then went back to my room with a hammer and a screw driver, loosened my DIN all the way, and hit the binding a couple of times with the hammer until it snapped back into place.
Im just wondering how safe these bindings are to use now. Are they not as safe any more due to the stretching of the spring inside the binding. They are px14's and are 2-3 years old.
