I find watching edits of big line skiing a little dull because i cant relate to it.
Do you guys/girls like to watch edits that is skiing that you can relate, or do you like watching edits of skiing you cant do?

Don't get me wrong, I love watching edits of massive BC lines and jumps but I would rather watch an edit with more of a relatable feeling/setting. I love watching kids kill it in little down-home edits of small east coast mountains. Just like the vibe better because I cab relate more I guess.

i think the key is a mix of the two to make you appreciate the gnarly shit going down. the lack of this mix is what i think certain skiers' and companies' edits boring even if theyre doing amazing stuff.
ive said it before but it's part of what makes hood crew edits so sick-- they leave lots of falls in so that you don't settle into that weird state of mind where you simply expect everything to be landed and it doesnt seem real

Watching an edit of someone destroy your local hill inspires you to progress way more than watching a pro kill it at some place you'll probably never go.

I used to not enjoy watching big mountain skiing that much until I actually experienced backcountry/hiking to terrain/actual pow, now I thoroughly enjoy watching people kill it in the backcountry

I love big mountain edits but I love when i recognize a zone/something at my own resort. Seeing people much much better then you throwing down on things you never thought of/don't have the balls is really inspiring.

I enjoy creative edits that make me think. Also tricks that are somewhat relatable, but done to perfection and styley. Things that make me want to go try something out and ski. I definitely enjoy some other like pow stuff and techy comp. runs that I can't really relate to as much.
