Boot flex question

Would a stiffer or a more flexy boot be better for nollies and butters? At first i thought it would deffinitely be a more flexible boot, but now that i think about it im not too sure... What do you think ns?

Don't think it really matters compared to the importance of the softness of the ski.

A stiffer boot will transfer the energy into your skis versus getting lost in the flex of the boot. When I go to nose butter I can feel my boots just fold a bunch.

I would not advise a boot that is too stiff. Buttering puts a lot of pressure on your legs, if the boot is too stiff your legs will hurt. Go for a medium or medium-stiff flex according to your weight.

This, but don't over do it. Flex is based on you, not so much the type of skiing you do. Your boot should be supportive and powerful (efficient) yet not so stiff that you cannot flex it properly (not able to get your knee over your toe).

Boots that are too soft cause just as many, if not more, problems as boots that are too stiff. Find the right flex for your body weight, ankle mobility, and strength and you will be golden.
