arent you a hawks fan? coming out of the break, they're currently sitting third in the western conference. id be stoked on that. as far as team usa, they did pretty decent, but still sucks they couldn't pull it off. im just glad the NHL's back tuesday. hopefully the wings can pull something together.

I am. I'm pretty stoked for the NHL to be back. Team USA was a bit disappointing this year, but hey, it's hockey.

After Vancouver four years ago it most certainly has been all about gold or bust. The U.S. has enough bronze medals to build a copy of the statue of liberty. Team USA was done the minute after they lost to Canada.

I'm just bummed, they looked really good in the prelims but as soon as they hit elimination the wheels started coming off. The game with Finland was a joke.

You can't blame the loss on a loss of heart for losing the prior game. Finland was in the exact same position, they lost a close game to Sweden, their closest rivals, when it easily could have gone their way. Same thing, different team.

what a great game and great team in general. i can't say that there was a single weak link. everybody provided offense, everybody could back check, everybody chipped in at some point. no flaws with canadian hockey this year! it was nice to see st louis get in as well and tear it up. what a speedy little dude who always manages to find himself in the right places.

You gotta be from here to get it. Basically the dirty little secret is that as Canadians, we love nothing more than seeing Americans fail, especially at sports. It's because you dominate them like 99% of the time, with the one, glaring exception being hockey.

All that shit about us being polite goes out the window when we compete against Americans and we become evil, vindictive creatures.

i never cheer for someone else's failure, rather our own success. it might be bittersweet to see a rival fall, and fall hard, but at the end of the day there's no gratification in kicking someone while they're down.

I kid.. it's just funny to watch sports fans get worked up. If the USA won I'd be disappointed at anything less than gloating and making fun of Canadians.
