Are used Full Tilt tongues making boots slopy?

I got some brand new seth's this year but wanted 6 flex tongues.
So I got some 4 year old, and very used tongues and put them on.
Now I am wondering if the very used tongue could be contributing to a slopy boot?

It's unlickly no they may be making them feel soft but not sloppy. Were you properly fitted for them and what type of custom footbed did you buy. Also if your coming from an overlap boot they may feel more insecure generally as full tilts are not as responsive as a regular boot generally.

My advice is to buy some Flex 6 tongues from the FT online store, compare the two, and post the results on here

They might be too soft, hence you feel "sloppy" in your boot. I have 4's in my boots and I can lean forward a bit more than I would like if I don't buckle the boot super tight. Makes the boots feel a little insecure at times.
