I damaged my knee three years ago, without health insurance. Luckily i was able to see a couple of specialists, including us ski race surgeon. he told me to give it time before getting it cut open, and to try and rehabilitate. i started skiing to rebuild strength after the six weeks, trained the entire summer and was able to ski the following season.Years later it feels strong and stable, but it never has been the same. i have an MRI coming up, and plan on getting things fixed at the end of the year. Check out this article, and love your knees.
