The perfect east coast ski

I want a ski that allows me to ski all over the mountain and lets me progress as a skier. I ski at jay peak every weekend.I mostlyski natural bump runs and trees which have soft snow most of the year. The only problem is that there is ice and rocks mixed in.I want a ski that excels in moguls, trees, and a littlepow. The ski also needs to be stable because i will be on groomers during the early and late season. I like the rocker camber rockerprofile, I dont ski much park just a few jumps once and a while and never any rails. I am an intermediate to advanced skier. I dont ski superhard through trees and bumpsbut keep a good flowy pace through them.

So heres what im looking for an all mtn ski with a 90-110 width and a medium flex. I want a playful ski.I am 5' 11" andweigh 150. I am 16 years old. What ski is right for me.

Skisim considering

Line sir francis bacon(my top choice as of now)
Line blend
rossignol sin7
Salomon rocker 108
Moment pband j(dont really trust this brand because i havent heard a lot about them)

I would love to hear from people who ski the east of who have skied any of the skis i mentioned above

Im not sure if theese skis seem to wide for my circumstances but ive been skiing on a 170 dollar 75 mm waisted park ski and need to upgrade because i dont ski park.(it was i could afford)

Any suggestions?

First off, Jay peak is the best mountain on the east :)

Ok now I think you would like the Scott Megadozer skis which are powder, groomer skis and like 70% off right now
Or you might like the surface green life,scott venture, or scott crus'air which is the most expensite but made specifically for east coast conditions

ive never been so serious in my life when I say buy the new HG Skis. Last years were shit but i demo'd this years and they are soooooooooooooo nice

i ski killington with my pb&j's and they are such a good ski for what you want to do. i would highly recommend them.... and for the right price maybe even sell them

I've skiied the blend and bacons and they're fun but salomon rocker 2s are my favorite skis I can't say enough good things about them

i heard the rocker2 skis lke a wetnoodle. Is it stable enough for east coast hard moguls and tree skiing

look at HG skis, smaller brand but its 100% east coast designed in vermont

Never had a problem with my Armada pipe cleaners. Im an east coast skier I've skied every type of snow you can think of with those puppies.

I have 5 yr old moments and they still shred the shit out of anything. I love them and will therefore say if you want a good ski and arent afraid to spend a little up front go with the Moments.

The ON3P Jeronimo should have you covered. Wide enough for light pow, agile enough for bumps and trees. As long as you have enough money, I wouldn't go with Line

youre welcome.

i have the s3's and the rocker2 108's, and i would never think about taking the 108s east coast.
theyre a incredible ski, but they are not an east coast ski.

the s3 tho is 98 waist, rockered tip and tail, with traditional camber underfoot.
holds an edge and can still handle the snow when conditions get deeee-cent.

Nah man, don't go to Jay. It only rains and Jay and the lift lines are huge. Plus, the locals are all such dicks

Try before you buy. That being said I love my Bacons great on shitty groomers, I live in Ohio and teach. I love the tight turn radius and although they are flexy on big landings and rough stuff will stay under you. They also do amazing when I take them out west and to NY/PA. So far this year I have around 250 hours on them running over shit and having kids constantly ski over them. So far there is one little gouge in the base that fills in with wax and minimal chips and scratches on the topsheets. I also hike for turns in the woods around with under 8" of snow on it without trouble thus far. Hope this helped
