Explain to me the logic of buying skiing-specific suspenders.

I cannot see the reasoning for dropping more than like $13 on suspenders, when you can use shoelace/rope for nearly free, or any standard suspenders + rope for pretty cheap.

If anything, I'd buy in the future to support some of the small-time brands. I dig that shit.

But srsly guiz... Care to explain?

It's under a jacket. Fuck, I'd wear shoelace suspenders to PROM if suspenders were supposed to go under the shirt.

And they don't work that bad. I'm too tall for shoelaces but I have some nice red rope and it doesn't dig in at all.

I only wear them when I am skinning or know I have a long bootpack or something. Normal or shoestring suspenders suck when you are throwing skis over your shoulder. Shit slips off.

I used to use shoelaces, but they started digging into my traps after a while. So that's why I switched to suspenders.

Y'all just go out and buy some treeforts now mmmkay. They even adjust to avoid nip chafe, which is the only legit reason to no rock spenders in the first place. Plus they have plastic teeth on the clamps so it doesn't shred your pants. One size fits all styles.
