Replying to My bindings are broken again

So I took a couple hard falls last night and I have found that on my salomon STH 12 bindings that I have a deep crack going through the front of the binding and one of my brakes are pretty messed up. These will be the second year in a row that I will have to buy new bindings due to damage during skiing. My question is what am I doing wrong? I assume that people fall all the time, but it seems that my bindings can't handle it. Should I have more durable bindings or what? Someone help me out here.
