Major binding damage help

So I took a couple hard falls last night and I have found that on my salomon STH 12 bindings that I have a deep crack going through the front of the binding and one of my brakes are pretty hardly cracked. These will be the second year in a row that I will have to buy new bindings due to damage during skiing. My question is what am I doing wrong? I assume that people fall all the time, but it seems that my bindings can't handle it. Should I have more durable bindings or what? Someone help me out here.

Well what could be going on (other than you just falling way hard) is that your din setting could be off. You dont want them too low because you will be popping out of your skis all the time landing which sucks. However, if they are too high and you take a decent fall, your boots can torque the binding and potentially crack them instead of just popping. If you tell ur weight current din settings and the size of jumps i can give more info

Which version of the sth do you have? The driver willbe much more durable but things can brake. If it's within a year though they will more then likely be covered by the warrantie so you should be all good.
