ya skiing is still a very young sport, some of the earliest pro's we got are only in their mid 30's now. and look at those guys, JP is skiing better than he ever has, pep's probably around 30, Pollard, etc.. we dont have many over 30 but the ones we do have are skiing at their best and some of the best skiers out there. shit i think delorme's like 30 or older and he IS the best park skier around IMO.
For a pure park skier though, it does take a pretty big toll on your body, I think the biggest factor is how well you can avoid injuries. really if you havent fucked your body, early to mid 30's is when you have the most ideal combination of physical and mental performance in sports. its not exactly the same for everybody but in general thats where we peak.
Also i think competition park skiers just loose the desire to compete after a certain amount of years doing it because they realize their's better more fun ways to ski. I know i wouldnt want to do more than a couple years of that shit, id get bored way too fast.
