Tightening Full Tilts

Did you get them from a bootfitter? If your boot is properly fit you shouldnt need the bottom buckle very tight.

of course this is the first reply to pop up.... It's really not that uncommon for this to happen on a full tilt, I switch the cables out for shorter ones all the time in the shop I work at. But to the OP do as I said above and figure out what size lower cable you have by taking it off and measuring (can be done with just a screwdriver and maybe pliers to remove the cable from the plastic housing in the buckle) it in MM. Go to their website or a shop that has parts and get a shorter one (they are in 10mm increments) then replace it.

First thing is do you have footbeds? If not start there they will help take up some of the extra volume you have. With a new boot you should be able to ski with the foot buckles undone. If you can it shows the shell is matching the shape and size of your foot. If you need the buckles tight to give a snug fit it actually mean the boots are the wrong shape or just too big and will continue to get worse as they pack out.

A short term fix may be getting shorter cables but this won't help the underlying issue of there being to much volume. What could help are footbeds and volume reducers ect.
