Stupidest injury

So I'm chillin in the safety patrol room after running into A FUCKING POLE! I came off a downbar switch and caught an edge. I refused to fall and while trying to catch myself I went off course. Before I knew it I was stuck in a fence next to a light post with a sharp pain in my elbow and hip. A FUCKING LIGHT POST!!! Been skiing since I was 2 and I fuck myself on a god damn light post! I'm scared as hell and need some stories to cheer me up.

I bought new boots, was taking them thru the airport and dropped one on my foot getting on the plane. Ended up breaking three toes.

I have a fat bruise on my face after kneeing myself. I hit a little 3' mogul and landed wrong. Also my friend ran into a tree on a green run and broke his collar bone.

not me, but saw some guy on the lift drop his pole. he reached for it and fell off from maybe 15 ft up. also i was in the trees and started navigating out of bounds. was going maybe five miles an hour and i got into some real tight stuff. i could either turn down into a huge bush or continue on at my liesurley pace in a tree. i took option b. i put my arms out which stopped me, but a sharp branch penetrated my pants and i needed stitches.

i was skiing in the trees on new years eve. i did a little nollie 180 on a roller then when i went to revert i hit a tree and completely snapped my humerus it was at about a 45 degree angle. 4 or 5 weeks after the injury i fell on some ice in my driveway and broke the callus. i am currently out for about 4 weeks. then i have to start rehab. and then i can maybe get some skiing in by the end of the season.

My friend twisted his ankle landing switch and then, while slowly riding away switch and swearing loudly took one of those park poles right to the balls. It was hilarious

I dislocated my knee having sex. Had to have surgery to realign it and now I have a 6 inch scar over my right knee cap and down to the tibia.

I broke my ankle slacklining once, not badly though. The strap around the tree snapped and I kept it really tight, because I like it tight. The ratchet came barreling into my ankle. Didn't find out it I fractures it until months later when I severely sprained the same ankle. I just thought I was being a pussy and it was only a little sore. Fortunately it had since healed.

Same here. Kinda different but while loosening the slackline, it just suddenly released hit my hand and when I looked down my finger was literally turned around and kinda dangling. The knuckle turned itself completely around haha. Had to get a plate and two screws in one finger.

Did a lincoln off of a slackline and landed parallel to the ground, I broke my collarbone. 3 weeks after it was "fully healed", I took a minor fall doing a wall flip and it broke again. I literally fell from like 2 feet off the ground.

I hit a slow sign trying to be cool riding switch one of the poles whipped my eyebrow and I needed a couple stitches. Like 100 people saw it too.

so i ended up with a fracture in my elbow and a badly bruised hip/lower back/left ass cheek. sounds like im gonna be skiing again this season. these stories are great lets keep it going, theyre actually making me feel like less of a tard

I've broken the same finger 3 times

First playing baseball they always teach you to catch the ball with two hands and I put my other hand in my glove tooearly. Second time it got bent back from a nerf football. Third time I was sleeping on the couch and my dog barked in my face which scared me and I fell off the couch onto it

At Snowshow on a ski trip with friends.
Night skiin' sucks because the park sucks.
Biggest rail is 8 feet.
We decide to get boozed up.
Pound 4 beers in like 15mins.
shit starts to get fun.

not enough speed slide back down and off side
go into backwards splits down the hill
knees screaming
i'm screaming
shit hurts bad. fuck up me knee hard.
go back to hotel
cry
limp
can't go skiing for the rest of the trip.

Skied into my poles super fast just after my ski snapped. Lacerated my kidney and spleen, perferated my colon and collapsed my lung. lost 4 litres of blood. 10 month recovery. Scar from pelvis to sternum!

Not really....once my knee cap was back in place she wouldn't let me finish. Something about seeing a human knee joint with the knee cap on the side of the knee grosses a girl out...who would have known..?

i got hit by a runaway skii two days ago. Hit me right in the tailbone. Hurt sooo bad i couldnt walk for literally like 30 minutes. Luckily it wasnt going too fast yet and it was a pow ski and not a GS.

I know your pain. that was a long 3 stair set and I was stoned and kinda drunk.
I also fractured my ankle skim-boarding once; on sand, just by jumping off at an odd angle. it was only 4 weeks in a cast that so no that bad

last day of the season when i came to sit down on the lift i put my hand out to just stabalize myself or somethin and my friend sat down first and his back just crushed my wrist and bent my hand all th way back, i felt retarded

landed backseat,pack got caught in the snow and dislocated my shoulder. Had a 2km hike back to my truck then 35 minute drive back to town by myself. Now in a sling for 3 weeks until re-evaluation. What a way to end the season....On the plus side, greatest day of skiing I've probably ever had before getting injured. I'm heading back to those lines first chance i get next season !

Slipped on some ice early morning last week and came down to a penguin slide with so much force, the back tip of my ski hit my head and made a fat gash which resulted in 6 fucking staples in the ER (wasn't wearing a helmet). Also twisted my knee from landing on one ski after fighting to rotate a fucked up backflip today at Snowbasin. Been a shitty late season since March started.

Fell in the grocery store parking lot getting groceries for the ski days ahead and got a bunch of small rocks embedded in the palm of my hand. Had to buy tweezers in addition to all the groceries and fish those suckers out after... For sure the dumbest scars I have on my body. The clerk's face when I handed the money over for to pay for the groceries with my hand bleeding all over was pretty priceless though...
