weight of skis

my 170 ar5's with look p12 weigh around 6,2 kilos. My old Rossi RPM 17 (not a twintip) with a plate and Rossignol 100 bindings weigh around 7 kilos. That is way lighter, but still not very light. How much does your skis weigh.

Does not matter. you will never really feel an adverse effect from a ski that weighs a little less. So long as you don't weigh 105 and have a bone disease.

kilo = time 1000

so 28 grams in 1 ounce...
16 ounces in a pound


16ounces x 28grams/ounce = 448grams in a pound

6.2 kilograms = 6200 grams
6200grams / 448grams/pound = 13.839285714285714285714285714286 pounds his current skis weighs.

i notice the wieght. experiment with thew swing wieght when you buy ur next pair o skis
