I am in the midst of getting a MacBook Pro (Late 2013 model). If anyone has one, how is the editing quality if it is even good for editing. I am getting the 8GB 256 flash storage version.

Best computer for video editing in my opinion. Final cut pro is one of the most powerful editing programs out there. you can buy it straight from the mac store, or torrent it which is free but not strictly legal. Adobe premiere is also good on the macbook. The easiest and cheapest editing program comes with the mac (imovie) and is good for simple editing but is not as powerfull as final cut or premiere. But yes. its a great computer

Yes. Just, yes. Best choice if you can afford it (it's an overproced bitch)
I know some tech stores have a service where you hand them your money and they assemble the best computer possible for your money, for the price of macbook pro you'll get a much better computer if you do this. But not many stores do it and its a bit of a hassle, the macbook is a good choice though

Well depending on what you are editing it may be fine. But generally you may want a dedicated graphics card. If you are going to be doing really intense editing you probably should get a desktop mac.
