It really comes down to what you are looking for in a school. people need to stop getting wrapped up in going to a 'better' school. Just because you go to a school with a 15% acceptance rate does not mean you're going to get a job out of college. It really comes down to things like being able to talk to people and being able to perform under pressure, things that you can learn at any school.
Another thing i see people do is go to schools that are way outside their financial means. No job is going to dig you out of 100+K in debt within a reasonable amount of time. Go to a school that has the program you are looking for, is affordable, and is a place you can see yourself spending the next four years.
