Kids parents ever bitched you out on the hill?

Me and a few buddies were skiin a really flat road back to the lift, and see a snowboarder taking up the whole track doin wide ass turns, we come up on her and say "on your left" she then turns around, catches her edge and eats shit hard. So we stop asking if she's okay and the dad comes up and ask what happend and the girl says we box her in! So he threatens to break our skis over our heads, so we leave and what not. We then get to the top of the lift where the dad and patrollers are sittin at the top and the patrollers ask us what happend, and the ski patroller knew these guys were some gapers and the was obviously lieing. Patroller told the guy he couldn't do much, so the dad and the little girl threaten to sue and they leave. Interesting expeierence.

Any parents every bitched you out before?

I came over this blind rollover and nearly hit a guy skiing across the hill on the other side. I didn't hit him, or come close enough to touch him really, but close enough that I thought I should stop and apologize. I'm 50 feet down the hill from him saying sorry, and he goes on and on about how I nearly killed him. After about 30 seconds of me apologizing and saying I'll be more careful and him cursing and getting really angry I just shrug and ski away.

I usually spray the gapers that stand in narrow openings of trails and to the outsides of lifts if they're in the way.

The one trail at my local mt is a run in to their biggest kicker and then joins up with another trail. Bunch of little kids and their parents kept going down it then stopping on the jump to slowly ski down the landing. This happened like 3 times so I went up to them and told them I can't see them when they stand on the landing and I could go off the jump and land on them.

I told them to please stop using this trail because it was meant for people using the jump and it was putting us all in danger. She decided to flip shit saying 'she paid for the pass to ride any where she wants to'. Complete idiot putting the kids in harm of getting decked by someone going off the kicker

When I snowboard, I also definitely start to really hate on skiers. They give you no room on the cat tracks and unlike skis, you can't just simply turn your legs to turn if you're going slow. Sometime they give you no room when you're going slow and you have to board over their skis and fall. It's the skiers who usually take the annoyingly wide turns. Her fault for falling but that happens easily. I've fallen over on my side hardly moving at all while I look up hill for friends

I got bitched out by ski patrol ducking the ropes into the JH backcountry/sidecountry. Guy came up to me, ripping my headphones right out of my ear...I definitely deserved it

I kicked a huge pile of snow off my skis on the lift when I was probably 11 or 12, it hit some little girl on the head and took her out. Dad wasn't stoked.

I have had a couple incidents with race coaches in the park, yet none of them have been my fault. My last problem was when my friend yelled, ¨GET THE FUCK OUT OF THE PARK¨ at the racers as they were using the knuckle to get ¨air¨ on the biggest jump in our park. the race coach not only yelled at my friend but yelled at me that he was gonna take our passes.

a nice sunny weekend groomer day:

slowly sidehilling over to a quarterpipe-like hit at my mountain. I see little jibber jonny about twenty five feet away from his parent flock, he is stopped in what appears to be a pile of sugary snow. Seeing that there is a good twenty-five feet in between little jonny and dad, i decide that there is a reasonable gap in which i can cut across the hill, while making sure that no one is going to hit me coming down the hill. As i get within five feet of the pass between the two, i notice a 2mm black retractable kick dog leash about two feet off the ground connecting little jonny to weekend dad. Only because I am an aggressive alpine skiier am I able to polish donut under the rope without hitting it and affecting the father/ little jonny system. I stand up after stomping the trick...no one has noticed that I just had to duck under their rope. I decide to engage weekend dad by saying, "wow! i cannot believe I did not just hit the rope between you and your son." He flips shit, starts swearing like a sailor in front of his kids. I try to calm him down but end up just having to apologize profusely to calm the situation. I ski away wondering why I am skiing instead of working on the weekends....

At our hill the first jump in the big line is blind from the top of the hill, you come in fast around a stand of trees so therefore cant really see whats going on at the jump till you're going off it. So I hit the jump spinning a 7 and there is some kid skiing in a wedge over the knuckle (in a completely blind spot). No one gets hurt or hit and I continue on down the hill. Sitting at the bottom waiting for my buddies and the dad who was with the kid comes down and starts bitching me out telling me how I'm inconsiderate and reckless. He continued on to tell me how park rats were what's wrong with skiing and we would deserve it if we broke our necks on a trick and couldn't ski anymore. Best part was when the ski patrol clipped his pass for his loud use of profanity in front of other customers.

there was this huge knuckle roller at my hill and you had to come in hauling ass from half way up the mtn to make the gap so i was already committed and this little girl (maybe 10) walks towards the take off but i knew it would be close but i would make it. i sent it and ran over the front of her skis dad sees it trys to chase me down and my buds but i thought he was down to fight so i took my skis off at the bottom and took my cock out.

My friends and I had just gotten to the bottom of the hill and were going into the lift line ( a Y shape entrance) The right side had about 6 groups of 3/4 people in it while the left side was wide open, so being smart and using the life line properly we went into the left side. Some hot head nob started to scream at us saying "you smart ass teens think you can fool everyone, you people make me sick on how disrespectful you are" My response " Im sorry but im not being a smart ass im using the lift line properly. He proceeded to yell and swear ass we were going to be 4 chairs ahead of him.

i was in a lift line in avoriaz, it was really busy as it was new years day. Me and my brother were just chilling in the queue when an incredibly pushy woman tried to muscle through. After putting up a little resistance by holding my ground and not letting her through. Next think i know i am someone is trying to pushed me over. Some old guy thinks he has the right just to push through the queue, as i was already pissed off about the woman trying to get through, he certainly was not getting through. Next thing i know, my gloves are off and so are his as he is squaring up to me. A resort worker them pushed us apart before any punches were thrown and the worker pushed me on to a lift before the old man... Therefore i won.

Saying 'fuck you nigga' goes along way to making tools like this get really butthurt. Im always apologetic when I come close to people but if anyone doesn't take my apology I'll make a point of insulting them as much as possible.


And when someone is standing in they way like a dumbass 'move nigga' works well too.


I don't usually say nigga in every day life since I am white but its appropriate on the ski mountain where everyone is white and you want to piss someone off as much as possible.

Yeah, quite a bit. I learnt this first hand with acrobatic skiing in early 2000. Kids ducking lines and skiing our training site were constant. When we would block the jump by standing in front of the hit, we were the bad guys.
In my local centers, I kindly tell gaper parents that a park is not a good bunny hill as I explain park etiquette. Im often told to fuck my self, so the next time I see them in the park doing dangerous shit, I call them out loud so everyone can see we mean business with safety and etiquette.

Giants Ridge, I was booking into the jump line on a slushy day. The approach is blind so you have to drop without seeing the jump. When I see the jump, I see a mom, dad, and 3 kids just stepping sideways up on the jump, I think to myself "I'm not going to give up my jump line run unless someone is hurt on the landing." This jump is hardly 7 feet wide, there's about a foot of clearance for my skis to go through. So I hit the jump, fly over gaper kid, then proceed on the jump line. While waiting at the bottom of the run for some buddies who didn't go as fast, gaper dad comes up to me screaming about how I almost killed his daughter, I tried to explain to him that those jumps are not a safe place for his daughter to be skiing but he doesn't listen, the mom comes down and is stoked as hell for me hitting the jump (she thought I was the first skier to ever hit a jump), she makes the dad calm down, and everyone lived happily ever after. tldr: gapers on jump, I hit it, dad mad, mom stoked, it's all good.

Haha, story from last night actually...

With full time college and working faggy hours at work, I really can only ski on Thursdays at the moment. So I usually try to go ham and turn it into a progression session (My first season in the park). Anyways I was going down the backside park to hit this long box with a huge drop off because I was feelin the steeze, and right as im about to 90 on, out of fucking nowhere, this kid comes flying down and sees me last second, spazzes and topples me over right as I am getting on the box. The next second, both his parents are speeding down the mountain to check on him and they start screaming at me "How could I be so careless", "You better pray to god my son isnt hurt", "What are you like 12, you blind idiot". I just told them to fuck off and teach their retard of a son to wait to air off the kicker after people who are actually using the features as designed have finished riding the feature. They tried to get ski patrol to pull my lift ticket, but patrol saw the whole thing. Felt good, but now my hip hurts.
