Replying to DSLR Advice?

I'm interested in improving my filming capabilities with buying a dslr, stabilizer, and mic. I currently have a gopro, which I hate. I have a Mac and would need a camera that is compatible with Mac (so no sony). I use final cut pro. I would like the camera to shot in higher FPS and at least 720p. I'm willing to go around 600 on the camera. With a stabilizer I'm thinking a flycam or glidecam, but I don't want to go past 250 on that. With a mic I'm thinking the Rode VideoMic. Any thoughts, ideas, or advice will be greatly appreciated.
