So today I realized that the afd (little white strip) came off on one of my look Px 12's. I'm wondering what's the fastest way to get a new one. Would it be safe to go without it for a weekend?
In terms of a replacement, go into your local shop and ask them. Or hit up look on the internet. Is it safe? If you get in a fall where you need that ski to release, it's possible it won't pop off right. If you don't have a fall it's not going to do anything. Would I ski without one? Nope.
Take it to a shop. The AFDs are as important as they are simple. You should not ski without one and a good shop should be able to help you out pretty much right away.
