A friend of mine has a Diesel Land Cruiser from Japan w/ the right hand drive and factory snorkel package and winches and shit. God that thing is awesome. I love hanging out on the left side with no wheel to grab, it is such a little tank.

IMO the best car in the thread. But this brings up an interesting question - what counts as "Classic"? Anything over 20 years old, or is there a cutoff like say 1980 or earlier?

man oh man this thread is totally right up my alley, here are my all-time faves

67 C2 corvette fastback, first year they put the 427 big-block in it. sexy

sidenote* if you dont think the second generation vette was the most beautiful, i dont care what you have to say, you are wrong.

another of my favorites is the 71 cuda
with a 440 hemi, just a bonkers big engine

69 Datsun 510

to this day, a real mean little drift machine

mandatory 64 Impala, belongs in every classic car list

aaaaand simply because this list will get longer and longer, I will wrap it up with what is probably the MOST classic car. ever. of all automotive history. the one and only Deuce Coupe, 1931/1932 Model A Ford.

(thats not stock obviously, but hot rodding is what made this car a classic, so IMO any rodded out deuce coupe is valid)

Dub post but fuck it. i forgot something important. general rule for a car to be considered "classic" is 25 years. thats how it works for insurance and import purposes anyways.

and one more that somehow was not in this thread yet, although incredibly gorgeous and truly classic Americana, 55 Chevy Bel Air

the hood ornament is an 8 inch long chrome airplane. they dont make cars like that anymore, especially not an average family sedan.

my dad used to have 3 different raced out mini coopers that he won the c class canadian national championships with back in the 70s/80s

his black one was his fastest, and also one of the fastest naturally aspirated minis in the world at that time. He totalled his first two and sold his black one when he got out of racing. id love nothing more than to drive one of those cars. (no pics of it online, so heres a stock mini.)
