hey, i thought eric pollard pro model was that..wide fat ski that's bigger than public enemy? isn't it? why don't they have that on their website? do they sell those skis?

the Pollard pro is on the site, as is the prophet. so you're jsut overlooking something...

ht EP pro is wider and longer then the public enemy and the prophets are much wider than the eric pollard pros. There both on the line sit, the prophets are under fat skis, and ep pro's are under pro models.

The Pollard pro is bigger than the PE, its kind of a really go mix of a Park Ski and an all mountain powder ski. I would rock them if 4frnt wasn't around, but thats not the case.

haha i don't know, they are secret skis. You have to beat career on all the guys to get those skis. They say they only made one hundred of them because they wanted to keep them mono board like. So its probably going to be hard to find a pair.

I own the pollards. I LOVE them. They are big enough to plow through crappy snow, float in pow, burly enough to take hard crashes, and stable enough to stick landings. My ONLY gripe is that the top sheets lick the bag. They are shredded nasty style. They aren't very durable I have last years, so maybe this year's are better. I endorse them!

Because the ones he's using in that pic are the prototypes. The final graphic is the one on the site...too bad the prototypes are sicker.

I have last year pollard pros and they're sick. good for everything but like the dude above said the top sheets aren't too durable.


Skiing influences my life way too much, I can be at some surf spot where theres not any snow at all and I walk by this resturant and I'll see a hand rail outside it and I'll have a thought that how can I get snow out here to slide this rail. Which is absolutly super stupid- Jon Olsson

I don't know how many threads there have been on this matter, but here is the low down:

1. In that picture E.P. is holding the Prophet Prototype 130 -- meaning 130 under the foot, and these are the same as the ones you can buy off of Backcountry.com $799. They will not each have custom graphics, like Powder said, but will look like the ones on the Web Site.

2. In Yearbook, or WSKI106, etc., E.P. was rocking the Prophet Prototype that is 150 under the foot, which have the white top sheets -- just the Pollard Pro graphic w/ colors inverted, apparently. As far as I know, Line has not announced plans to produce this model to the public, but that could always change.

@$799, they are tempting, but still way too much to spend on such a limited-terrain-specific ski.

If you buy them, though, you must post a picture. I am super curious.
