My Idea was to 1. Acquire and cut to shape a section of more durable material 2. Sew one edge on to the area exposed to stomping out with heavy-duty thread (I have access to a sewing machine) 3. Cover the back side with Shoe Goo (Stretchy, water resistant, sealant-adhesive) 4. Sew the other sides on and stitch across the piece in multiple locations to keep it against the fabric of the pants.
So I would like to know how you guys have done it and to what degree it has succeeded, and if this plan sounds viable or if there is a different method I should use. It would also be nice to know what materials you have used to reinforce the cuffs and if you recommend it. Thanks.
