i'm 5'8 and 150 ish, will not be growing much if any.
first full park ski was k2 domain 169 (measured out to 173)
now riding 176 Ninthward LT which is cambered 125-90-115 and very stiff. sometimes i find them bulky in the park. I am a huge fan of soft rockered skis. enter the s3.
I just picked up the 186 s3 locally for a crazy low price and i'm wondering if i should go back and switch them out for the 178s. I wont be using these on rails or anything but more for trees and 1 - 2 feet of powder. the 186 measures out to about 182. has anyone been on the two lengths? im kind of thinking the 178 will be closer to the riding length of the domain, something i really miss.
i do have a bit of time to play with the idea of an exchange so any help is definitely appreciated
