Last time I was at a ski shop they only carried one Scott pole, the one that was Blue, Red and White. It was priced at something like $65. maybee even $80. When I was at REI the Cheap Rossignal Poles, which Ive broken three pairs of, were $35.

well unlucky suckaaaas 2 dollars to the pound = good deal for me.

supprt anthony bitches it is, imo, a bit stupid to launch the site with only one pole design but never mind, props for them for having the inginueity to corner this niche in the market, there is no doubt whatsoever that they will suceed. if you dont like the price, dont buy them, but dont bitch. look at the materials and I guarentee you wont find a pole of the same that is cheaper (and will have wack graphics and be a multi-national conglomerate owned by nike anyway).

What does everybody expect? Do you want Tony to give you all free poles?

If you were expecting a better deal than rummaging through a dumpster, then I hate to burst your bubble but new shit costs money.

If you want to have beat-ass mismatched shitty rental poles, then be my guest. I'd much rather spend a measly 60 bucks and have some nice poles that will last.

I can't WAIT for mine.

I got some old scott poles from the 70s with great grip and everything! They still is good! Ive never seen better quality..

I really wish I didn't dish out $35 for scott poles (origanlly $80, they're like snow camo ones)If I didn't have new poles I would buy a pair, I don't care about paying the $60, support the Newschool movement

yea bishop just layed the facts out for you the prices match or beat the other brands top of line poles and this is supporting a better cause then them

I'm gonna buy them because I need new poles, and would love to support the company. It'd be nice if the graphics were a little better though, I was kinda disapointed. I was expecting like 3 different pairs. Its a super dope site though.

i think everyone made a huge deal over it simply to find out that what they were waiting for isn't an improvement on anything. it's a pole. with graphic. whoop de doo. if i wanted 'graphics' (aka black and white checker board), i would do it myself. poles are poles. if they did something new to the poles, everyone including me would be a lot happier and might want to buy them. but 60 bucks for the same thing that everyone sells is a waste of money.

Mr. Bishop forgot one important comparison:

Scott Firewall Pole(the pole most comparable to the Joystick pole): $115 Canadian, or approximately $93 US, at D-Structure.com

Joystick: $60 US, or $73 Canadian.

The poles are as good as each other, but one's $33 more. What was that about Joystick being too expensive?
