Trying out for baseball isn't necessarily easy, much like any sport. Sure, field a few tricky grounders and hit into the outfield and you're on the team, but it takes years and years of dedication and practice to become a great baseball player and maybe play on a pro level. And there aren't just a few things involved in baseball, there's a shitload. It took me super long to simply get baserunning, but eventually you get the hang of it after working harder.
Same thing with freeskiing, anyone can get on the bandwagon and click into a set of park skis and hit a flat box, but its the skiers who are out there everyday for years pushing themselves harder and harder who actually progress into freestyle athletes. It's like any other sport that has the ability to advance to professional levels, you get out what you put in.
And back to yourself, I bet you could easily do a backflip, you just need to practice it. It's all in the hips. (-Chubbs Peterson)
