Im going to buy some 2012-2013 4frnt switchblades for $200 brand new, the size will be 166. Have anyone ridden these skis, if so could you leave a review on them, im 5'3" weigh 115, what would some good bindings be? i ride 80% park 20% mountain, 60% jumps 40% rails.

I've had them for two seasons now I'll provide some input. Really solid ski, most durable ski's I've ever had personally. I've only managed to get one edge crack on the ski I primarily scissor with so I'm super impressed. I have mine mounted center since I ski mostly rails but they still grip and carve very well for a primary park ski. In terms of flex they're really snappy in the tail, easy to pop on to rails and off of jumps, espically when flexed. The nose isn't all that soft so nose butters can require a bit for effort but that's not really a big deal. I'd say they're a 7/10 on the siffness scale. They are slightly heavier than other park skis, but that burliness really helps for stability on jumps, I generally feel more confident on these with bigger spins, the only time the heft gets annoying is switch ups but you get used to it. I'd buy them again but I've grown a lot so my pair is getting short, if there was a 184 size I would buy them again in a heartbeat.

I love my switchblades. If you can get them for 200 bucks its really no question. Super stable at high speeds and on landings and quite honestly super fun just to cruise around the mountain on. Ski is at a moderate flex so not super stiff but also not super buttery. My only complaint is that it lacks a little snap off of jumps that you might get out of a ski like the punx but by no means is the ski dull it has a really nice feel and allows you to pop onto just about anything. I've beat the shit out of mine and they are still holding on pretty good. Missing a bit of edge witch is a guarantee with any ski out there but this one has 0 durability issues and I am very happy with how they have held up.

No kidding, finding park skis you want in anything past 181 can be a bitch.

I find people really over play the binding in most cases. Sure some are better than others but as long as it is in your din range you should be fine with pretty much anything. I feel like I'm in the minority and love the Salomon and Tyrolia binding but you can never go wrong with FKS or marker which can get pricey

fyi, if you're interested in this binding, it's literally the same thing as the 4frnt Deadbolt and the Tyrolia Peak
