alpine is wind fucked. we just got around 5-10cm, but it's not enough... cold air and sun in the forecast. treeline is skiing good enough on east and north faces. it's been a few weeks since we've had snow and there was a very strong wind event at the tail end of the last storm.
The small system that came through the other day dropped more snow south of here with up to 20cm of fresh down at Kootenay Pass and up to 30+ in the south Monashee's (Monashee's are hard to access without a sled).
Besides that, it's low across the board so it's about as stable as it can get.
