NS'ers in NYC?

Just recently moved up here last summer for a job and I've decided this city gets way too much damn snow for me to be skiing so little. Anyone live in the city and have a means to get up to one of the "mountains" upstate/in vermont?

I did the bus thing once and it was surprisingly legit, but there's something unsettling about 50 people staring at you like you just robbed a store made for thugged out teletubbies. doesn't help that I'm of the darker persuasion...

let me know if you wanna grab a drink and plot some weekend warrior outings or just general hoodrat shenanigans. I work 80+ hours a week so weekdays are out of the question unfortunately...

Apologies for crowding main ski gabber, but everyone knows regionals are more sterile than goepper's no pole "steez"

I live in Westchester, half hour north of the city but go in a lot. I ski mountain creek in Nj, which is about an hour from me and has a decent park. Probably about an hour and a half from the city.

I was looking into this the other day. I want to live in NYC and figured that there must be some fun weekend skiing to be had - glad to see I'm not wrong!
