Have any skiers landed the lobster flip? I know Henrik has come close

Halldor doing a lobster flip.

but id never seen him trying that one to 14 like in OP, that was insane. also i think i saw a video on here once of a skier trying one to 14, almost had it...?

A lobster flip is a flat spin into a bio. The pistol flip looked like a rodeo 7 into a misty 5.

Looks more like a dub rodeo 10 than anything else. Henrik looks like he had it on lock in B&E blackout

Henrik is obviously the closest. The way I envision the trick being done on skis is a flat/rodeo 3 into a rodeo 9/10/12 (like Tim McChesney in Fuck!), extra points if done with a mute for both flips and let go for the unwind (I know mutes are creative and I know Heldor is doing a japan...but I think it would sick with a mute)

Misty is forward flipping spin where you flip the same axis direction as you spin (so if you spin left you flip forward and to the left...like North-West on a compass), Bio is forward flipping spin where you flip the opposite axis direction as you spin (so if you spin left your flip forward and to the right...like North-East on a compass).

1:36, its pretty close but halldors first flip is set as a snowboard backflip (i.e to the side) and then a bio 7.

so i'd say for it to be a 'true' ski lobster flip it would need to be lincoln to bio 7.

Sammy's definitely got it down, he just doesn't bone out the grab like Halldor does. At probably 2:50 in this edit he does what would probably be the closet thing to the lobster flip on skis.

Henriks is a flat 3 into a bio 10. I think Haldors is a flat 5 into a switch bio

Guys, halledor's was a dub cork more than anything. He set it pulling backwards (not forwards) and then tweaked it out to 10 on the second rotation. The ski equivalent, if i had to choose one, would be Gus' carved dub 10 from a while ago:



I know that filmed from this angle it doesn't look the same but if you keep in mind the fact that snow borders ride with a foot in front and skiers straight, you should see quite a resemblance. Or at least this a cork 3 to 7.

Thoughts?

I disagree, haldors first flip is way closer to a rodeo than a cork 3, and his second is a tweaked rodeo/bio, like henriks

The equivalent to Halldor's lobster flip, to me, is a Kang flip where the second inversion is less of a flip and more of a cork.
