hi I got a new pair of line masterminds a couple of months back, I've used them like 14/15 time almost all of them in the park untill yesterday they delaminated on the right tip. I knew they weren't great skis but is this normal?
i wouldn't get them again, friend dropped a cliff snapped the tip and front right delaminated, also you can call line and they should send you a new pair of skis if you send proof.
I completely agree with this, If you're skiing in the park a lot and beating on them, you should seriously consider a slightly more expensive, more durable ski, such as the Afterbang (which have lasted me two years). As skis.com as well as Garrett Russell said, the Masterminds are a great beginner ski for someone getting their first twin tips and for the price of them, I would completely agree. You certainly do get what you pay for and it seems that you are ready to move up to a higher end ski. Hope I could help
Since it's my first year using twin tip skis I kinda knew what I was getting but I didn't knew they were this bad, next year hopefully I'm getting I real park ski
As a beginner to park skiing, started last year, the masterminds appealed to me because of their ease to learn on. I found this tremendously helpful, and the durability didn't bother me because I knew I would wreck skis as a beginner, so why wreck a pair of $600 skis? I think there i s nothing better out there to learn on because once you are done with them, you are ready to get your first high performance ski. The problem may be that you are kitting your skis together. I did this for a while as a beginner and it destroyed my skis. If this is the problem you just need to learn to control your legs and get stronger.
Spark Notes: Masterminds are not made to be the most durable ski out there... what did you expect for the price?
