im just wondering why people smoke? me myself, i have never done it and personally i think its a waste of money and health, but why do people do it??

marijuana is a good old time...you need to try it to see why so many people do it. I used to be an addict, almost every day sometimes up to 4 times a day...but then i was clean for a few months and now i smoke about once every two weeks..i dont drink either, but its a gold old time, makes me think and see things better.

most the people downplaying drugs are either getting paid to say its bad (Ad's, Gov't) or havent ever done it and just think its bad cause their used-to-be hippy now born again christian parents say its the work of the devil.

i smoke ocassionaly when i drink,a nd i only do that about 2 to 3 times a year, and that's damn good considering i live in a hick town where the only thing to do is that. if it weren't for skiing i would be in witht he crowd of stoners and drunks partying every weekend. sure it's fun but to do it that much is just plain stupid. i doubt that doing it 2-3 times a year is going to effect my health also, plus i've never smoke weed.

i smoked a lot of weed in the last year, after a while it made me depressed, but thats just me, if it didnt do that i would still be smoking. i stopped a couple months ago and i dont plan on starting again because of depression

but i did it because it was just fun

ddue i had a freind that used to be real cool and stuff then he smoked and stopped snowboarding and skiing and basically lost contact with the world...he became like hippie to the max and never talked to us anymore....and another one of my freinds were like soo good at inline then he started smoking alot and he stopped skating but now he doesnt smoke as much and he started skating again and skiing

ya its fun, but i think drinking is definitely overrated and smoking is fine, but its retarded when people base their life around it or w/e.
and then of course 95% of high schoolers do it so they can brag about it on monday, that pisses me off.

it was a personal choice for me. all drugs i try are. no pressure to try it. i won;t try andything that is hopelessly addictive or known to be worse than sitting in a traffic jam.

i figure weed is less harmful overall than drinking, though i do both. i do it to get a new realization, a new outlook on things i have done 10 thousand times before. i mean playing hack gets boring, then you do it stoned its much better.

i don;t smoke when i ski becasue skiing is still fun without it, i don;t need to change my state of mind for it. going for a walk on a nice warm day to waterloo park is fun, but it is a hell of a lot more fun stoned

more or less jsut try it if you feel like it. can't get addicted to the softer drugs like pot or shrooms (though some claim to have been, and it does seem like it, just have self restraint).

i smoked pot mroe last year than anyother and had 106 days skiing, and had a better GPA than ever before, so don;t give me bullshit that it makes you quit things. it may help you decide what is more important, some people just choose to be lazy stoners. then again, alot of people who don;t smoke at all are mindlessly addicted to television.

if god created a plant and bud that i find and abuse, who the fuck are you to judge me?-fat mike.
