For some of us in the US or Canada, prom season is approaching. Most are withing the next 2 or 3 months, so its time to start thinking about plans. This is the thread to share your plans and expectations for your prom. It can be interesting to see other regions perspective on the idea. For example, you can talk about what color you would like to do for clothes, where the dance will be located, possible themes, plans for afterwards, etc. Ill start;
Color: Orange or Mint dependant on availability
Location: shedd aquarium
Theme: not released yet but there are rumors of 'under the sea' because its at an aquarium
Plans for after: wisconsin dells with a group of 18 or 20 people, have a good night and ski the next day on group and high school rates.

If I go to prom :
Best case scenario, I go stag or ask someone, we are mutually attracted, get laid, party, wake up in a ditch with said girl
Worst case scenario, go stag or with someone, it's super awkward, don't get laid, shitty party, get an MIP, wake up in a ditch alone.

But for real though, I kind of want to go, but almost all of my friends have dates, and I don't have a clue who I would ask or if I could even do it. Being the odd man out sounds like shit when we do shit before the actual dance.

I say fuck it and go, screw the whole climatic build up, it's a party to celabrate that you are graduating and you don't need a date to have a good time.

For my prom I straight up brought on of my close friends from grade 11 because you had to either be a grad or someone's date to get into the party and, no homo, I would rather him be at the party then any of girls I knew at the time I didn't know that well.
