One of, if not the best documentaries i have ever seen. Indonesian paramilitary death squad leaders are celebrated as heroes. They proudly reenact their real-life mass killings in the style of the American movies they love.
The brutality of man is introduced and so is the thought of how history is written by the victor.
I kept having to remind myself that these men are mass murderers some of which have killed over 1000 people. The movie shows capitalism at its very worst. Was it not that our governments supported these killings? And collectively we tuned a blind eye, ignoring the mass murder of over one million people.
It is a long documentary but it is definitely worth the watch.
