Looking to buy a new pair of goggles and want something with a bigger field of view. Ive been looking at i/oxs, canopies, and eg2s but am willing to consider anything. Durability is also a big factor. What would you guys consider?
I went from oakley crowbars to spy raiders. Love them really good wide goggle at a good price, really durable to, I caught an edge forward and smashed the side of the goggle into a rail it nothing happened to the lens or frame.
Have the I/OX elites and have loved the hell out of them. I have lenses for any condition so I'll never be blind. The FOV is amaazing too though and the lense quality is te best out there imo.
i love my APXs's. they fit great on my face and with my receptor bug, they're really comfortable, never fog, and have a great field of view. plus, having two lenses is really nice and they're really easy to change out.
Definitely no difference in durability, the lens quality on my oakleys are better but that's because I got nicer lenses for them. I'd assume the quality should be the same
I'd really suggest going to a shop and trying on an oversized goggle to see how it fits your face. Took me a pair of smith I/OXs and oakley canopys to figure out they just look stupid on me haha. Now I rock the smith I/O and dragon rogue, the rogue especially because it's actually wider than even most oversized goggles.
Poc Lobes are great. They have a big feild of view but they're not bulky, and have AMAZING lenses. I've had them for about a year now and they don't have the slightest scratch or crack. Put them in the case when not in use and they'll last a long time.
Really interesting music choice but this is how you change the lenses over.
The change over for a lens should not be a selling point though. You won't change over much anyway. Out east I used a yellow lens all the time cause when you ride in the trees the light is flat and the whole mountain I skied at was flat light all the time until spring hit.
