After search barring nothing came up. So the question lies; who would be the best commentator for any skiing comp? I'd say Steve Stepp honestly.

The majority of people on NS would be better than the commentators at the PC US Open. That being said, Tit Stalefisch would be a good one for the olympics if he's not on the team

Measuring commentators is usually only done on a scale of bad to worse on this site. So it really doesn't matter who's commentating anymore because the best that can be done is always bad.

Commentators are always going to fuck up trick names on the fly and talk about dumb things. They'll always have to broadcast to a wider audience than the parkrat community so you can bet a good portion of the commentary will be redundant.

LVV is bad, Uncle E is bad, Douglas is bad, and they're the best we have. The worst commentators are the one's that don't understand the sport to begin with and don't actually know the trick names so no shit they're the worst.

If anything needs to happen,it's a lowering of standards to separate the bad from the worse.

I loved McRae's switch double cork 1260 on the first jump, but I think the dude realized it was an error right after he said it.

One thing I did notice during the PC Grand Prix is that the commentators were specifically told to call tricks 'double corks' when they knew they were switch double rodeos or w/e. One of the commentators started saying, "oh look at that switch double rode... switch double cork 1080!". Probably dumbing it down so the people at home can follow it a little bit.

Sad, but if it gets the sport out there more I'm all for it...

Thats kind of dumb but at the same time even people on this site have huge arguments over whether something is a rodeo or not, might be better to keep it simple.
