Hey guys,

We're putting together some questions for an interview with Henrik Harlaut at X-Games and we want your suggestions. The theme of the interview is preparation and getting mentally ready to compete.

Henrik.... Have you considered not wearing the huge jacket in specific weather scenarios for the sake of keeping speed up on the slope course? ABM did this at GP Copper and was one of the few athletes who wasn't crushing knuckles all afternoon.

What do other competitors think of your style of runs in comps? Do you ever think twice when practicing if certain tricks won't work, even though they are styley and fun? No one ever does any of the tricks you do, yet you've proven that it can put you on the podium if executed correctly.

People generally seem to think of you as some stoked goon who smokes funny stuff, parties hard, never hits the gym and doesn't care about competition results (i.e not a very serious athlete).

How much of this is true?

I know you are truly stoked, but I find it hard to believe that you can become the best in the world and stay relatively injury free in our sport without proper preparation and nutrition.

As to the comp runs, you have always been pulling technical stuff, even though many of your fans loudly proclaim "fuck doubles/triples" at every chance they get. How do you feel about that statement?

What tricks are you currently working on?

And on a less serious note: Isn't it annoying to have dreads flying in your face when whipping spins?

I got a good one,

In a sport that is so competitive many athletes have a very aggressive, "here to win" approach. How do you balance your signature laid back nice guy attitude with the competitiveness of freestyle skiing?
