Car Crash Stories

Well tonight I got in my first accident. I was driving and slid and bumped a tree and got wedged between the tree and a rock wall, airbag deployed and nose gushed blood like a waterfall. The car is in fine condition amazingly probably a few bumper dents and dont know how they got it out. Still dont know what insurance will do. Sad part of the story was I was going to get pizza, didnt get to pick it up.

Just thought I would post this to hear others crash story

destroyed my (now ex) girlfriends letter box... never fixed it and still occassionally get a laugh if i ever drive past

I got in an accident where I was stopped at a stoplight and this kid from my school rear ended me because he "couldn't see" he was going almost 30 mph and his car was absolutely destroyed my car took almost no damage, this was a couple weeks after I got my license so it freaked me out pretty good

2 nights ago I totaled my first car, my beloved VW mk2 GTI :(

wasn't my fault, and I will be getting money for it, but I'm still sad about it. it also caught on fire and was about to explode, but luckily the guy I hit had a fire extinguisher.

you seem like a huge idiot. it was already a write-off before it caught fire, so how exactly did he save my ass? the accident was his fault, so obviously he will be covering the damages.

In your original post you said you hit him. He prevented an explosion which could have cause collateral damage. If your car fire causes surrounding plants or something to catch fire, and the fire brigades called in, some states can fine you a few grand.

i did hit him. he was making a left turn in an F450 flatbed and couldn't make it out of the intersection fast enough, as I was coming straight through. this all happened just as the light was turning yellow. his vision was blocked by the car making the left in front of him, and he decided to push the yellow and go for the turn. by the time he saw me, he tried speeding up to get out of the intersection and avoid me, but it was too late and i smashed into his back end. he was a really nice guy about it, and was very apologetic about the whole situation.

as for the explosion, it was pretty odd. when I first got out of the car, some lady was yelling at me saying it was on fire. it was just a small flame, so I blew it out and pushed my car out of the instersection. i pushed it into a pull-in to some kind of gated lot, completely off of the road... but right when the car hit the transition from the flat to the slightly uphill pull-in, the whole front end lit up in flames, somehow.

I'm in Canada so i don't think I would have gotten fined if it did explode, and the area around the car was pretty clear with only concrete around us. no police responded to the accident as there were no injuries, only firefighters came to the scene.

I got rear ended by some kid who wasn't watching the road and going 25 mph over the speed limit. I was in an f-350 and the trailer hitch basically went through the whole front end of his car, but the truck still had significant damage despite looking fine. The whole bed frame was totally bent, but his car was 100% totaled

I got really high and drove up to a state volleyball tournament, I'm the most cautious driver of my group of friends so I drove a friend's car. While in stop and go traffic I looked down to see where to turn next and bumped the guy in front of me. Scratched the back bumper a little bit and he was super chill about it and told us not to worry about it. I don't drive high anymore because of that day.

I got rear-ended by a civic on the way to school, this girl in my class was "not texting I swear" but she's a fuckin liar. anyway it completely totaled her car, her whole front end was smashed in the only thing that happened to my little Escape was a cracked bumper and a dent in my hatch where her had folded and jammed into it.

Had a kid run into my trailer hitch at a red light. He was pissed that the bumper/hood on his new subaru got wrecked but it was his fault for not looking so nothing really happened.

Also had some crazy lady try to i think oass me out of nowhere from a right turn lane. I was going straight and all of a sudden i hear a huge bang and a skidding ad the tire of my truck went over the front part of her bumper. I guess she didnt know that the 2 lane road merged into 1 lane and just ran into the side of me. I had some minor bumper damage and her car got destroyed. When i ran over her front fender/bumper area it caused part of the bumper to punch a hole in her radiator at it also jacked up her hood.

Needless to say im very glad ive been a truck both times ive been hit.

A few years ago while I was driving my FJ, some old guy in a Ford Flex merged right into me without looking. No damage to my car other than some minor scrapes on the front left wheel, but his car had to be towed haha.

one time i was leaving my school parking lot and some douche in his lifted f-150 slowly drove into the back of my car. then when he realized what he did did a u turn and drove away. fucking dickweed hit the spare tire on the back of my car so there wasnt any damage but he still made a run for it like a little bitch.

Like two days ago I say a 16 or 17 year old girl hit 4 runner in her brand new 3 series. Still had dealer plates on it and everything. Dumb bitch.

I've never crashed, but my friends were doing 70 on a highway when it was pouring, and their tires were bald too (fucking idiots, right?). They hydroplaned and flipped over. Nobody got hurt even tho one of them was sleeping in the backseat without a seat belt on and got away with a couple scratches.
