for the last few years iv used my new life's for any deep snow and my park skis for the rest. recently picked up some blogs as an all mountain/chopped pow ski. haven't had a chance to use them in suitable conditions and I'm wondering if I will regret getting rid of my new life's on really deep days. I ski in the pnw (mainly Snoqualmie/alppy and the surrounding areas) so I ski a lot of heavy snow. it could be nice to have sell the new life's and have some cash for some Trekkers and skins for some light touring. I like my new life's a lot and didn't buy the blogs to replace them but I'm wondering if that could with out sacrificing to much on deep days. anyone have a suggestion?
I think you can never have enought skis, theyre like cars to me (or so i wish). All differnt and enjoyable in many ways. I have Bibbys and im looking to get a mid-fat or even something like a Hellbent to mess around on.
I had blogs last year and I never needed anything more but I have always wanted hell bents, I got some over the summer but have since gone back to my blogs and plan on skiing them everyday for a long time. So no, don't worry about it.
I have no problem skiing deep on my blogs. Yes I realize I'm in CO and not WA but I've ski'd that type of snow and had a blast on the blogs. I'd do what someone said above and throw trackers/guardians on them
