Are any NSers currently attending Vermont Tech? Thats one of my potential schools for next year, but I'm not really sure if its worth the extra money. I would be going for the Auto tech program. The most interesting part is their private ski hill/ tow rope set up. Any opinions on the school? Also, what is the closest ski area? Many of the best VT mountains are between an hour and 2 hours away, but I'm not sure if there's anything closer.
i went to the last one and i'm accepted and everything. i just don't really know if its for me. it just seems like a bunch of nerds. i mean i'm not an alcoholic but i like to have a good time
like i went to visit and it was during a break or something...dont really remember but there was like a few people there and it just seemed kinda quiet. i just dont wanna go there and have it be like nothing ever going on and just classes and sit in a dorm all day. i've visited friends at like keene state and UNH and Quinnipiac and they had parties and stuff or something going on all the time. i mean i know VTECH isnt like that or at least i think but i just dont want to be bored for 2-4 years
same here, I've been 2 differen time and I've barely seen anyone around campus. Everything seems pretty chill, but it could get boring quick. I also get the impreion that theres barely any partying
The only thing technical about a tech college is that it's technically a community college. And technically the word community cancels out the word college soooo......
That being said, I know several people who have gone that ended up transfering because randolph is loose butthole.
