she prefers a small depth of field to isolate her subject from the background. shes achieving this by using a longer lens with a very wide aperture

I was expecting someone to finally have produced some moving pictures like in harry potter

I wasn't disappointed, but it was for other reasons

Also... she's got a crazy shallow DoF on a lot of those those shots. I have to conclude that these pictures are heavily manipulated because I mean what kind of mom living on a farm in russia can afford a long range lens with a low enough aperature to get a 2m depth of field from like 30m away? or am i missing something?

EXIF says 5DII + 50mm 1.2 and 135mm 1.4 if my memory serves me correctly
