Don't want to snap my skis

simple answer if you dont want to break them, buy a pony. nobody's skis snap when they have a pony

Skis are made to flex, so snapping a ski is extremely unlikely unless you weigh like 300 lbs on an undersized ski

if you wear your left sock inside out its impossible for your skis to snap

I stand on the tips of my skis at least once or twice every day I'm on them, I mean the ski is straight up and down, and nothing, skis are designed to flex and not snap. skiing on 150s I'd say your not very heavy so there's very little chance of snapage.

If you're worried about snapping your skis, you're doing it wrong.

Skis put up with more abuse than you could imagine. If you screenshot a video of someone hitting a rail you'll be shocked at how low the tip and tails drop when the skis hit the metal.

Skis generally only snap when you put an obscene amount of force through them at a horrible angle. Think about landing on the tails (THE VERY, VERY TAILS) of your skis off a jump at high speed and you can imagine what I'm talking about. A lot of the snapped skis you see all snap in the same spot from this exact sort of contact - just behind the bindings.

I doubt anyone has ever snapped skis buttering, and if they have then the skis might have been weakened by an improper remount etc.

what is your height and weight? if youre in the right size range for 150cm skis you don't have a thing to worry about

Well the Coda is a jr ski so naturally it will be softer than its big brothers in the adult line-up. But depending of height and weight they are a solid ski. All skis can break in the conditions are right, just like vast majority of skis will never break given normal skiing. Like someone said above if you don't want your skis to break don't ski. Skis are a tool and if used tools wear out and need to be replaced. Go and have fun. Let you parents worry about it if they break.
