Benefit to going with new STH2? Or get last year's FFG14 driver?

Need some clamps for a new pair of Soul Riders. Really don't plan on running DIN above 12, so thinking about the STH2 WTR 13. Cheapest I can find them is $229. Other option is to get last year's Atomic FFG14 with the driver toe for $199.
Do I opt for the new technology and a binding that is supposedly going to work better (release safer) with my Full Tilt Seth boots with the rubber sole or do I save a couple of bucks and pick up last year's Atomics?
The other option would be to go with the Tyrollia Attack 13, but I haven't heard a ton about the new design.

Both are great bindings. You will be happy with any of them.

New STH2 has a wider platform, longer heel tray (easier to adjust boots to), brakes that are less prone to catching while skiing switch, plus all of the original goodness that made the STH awesome. For not that much more money, you are getting a lot of binding.

this. The 2 is a better binding no doubt but the original is great too so if its way cheaper go with the original if not the 2

Have the Sth2 mounted on JJ's. Solid bindings. Definitely like the wider platform.

You guys rocking the 13 or 16? It doesn't look to me like there is as much difference as in years past. I was actually surprised at how much metal was in the 13.
