For me the performance isn't super different.
I have used Crowbars almost exclusively for 3 seasons (4 total years, one of which was missed due to injury). Rather than having lenses to swap, I basically used 2 pairs: one black iridium, one hi intensity yellow, depending on light conditions. This has worked just fine for me and I've had no real issues.
This year, I bought some I/OXs, and have used them 5 times so far. I still keep at least one pair of Crowbars with me in the car or my pack in case something happened to my Smiths, but they're now the goggles I use.
I would say that the Smith lenses I have are better all around - the Black Iridium is probably a bit better for sunny days than the green sol x, and more versatile than my blackout, which I used for all of one run because I haven't had a full bluebird day yet. But realistically, you use your low light lens more than your bright / mirror lens in the west, and the blue sensor mirror lens is a bit better, imo, than hi yellow. It's close, though.
The I/OX are clearly the winners in terms of how easy it is to swap lenses, though.
