Recommend some backpacks!

my backpack just broke, I'm looking for a new one, maybe two actually. im pretty much redoing all my packs and baggage since all my stuffs getting worn out and breaking, so i'll be getting a new biking, backpacking, lightweight day pack, and suitcase. but i only need one immediately.
I do a lot of traveling for work, as in flying, driving and hotels, i usually keep my computer, couple magazines, whatever papers i need, a book, my small camera, sd cards/cables, and other random small crap in it. this pack doesnt need to be super light/perfectly sized, or super technical. just a good middle of the road size so i can fit all my stuff easily, and be able to carry a little extra when i need it, and still easily fit as a carry on on planes.
i really like the topo designs stuff, or just that look, so going for something like that. or just something a little more unique rather than the typical black oakley bag look.
any reccomendations?

definitely go Osprey, they are literally bombproof and have lifetime warranties. Ive had mine for 3 years and it looks new.

This. I'm a big fan of the Kode30. Great pack for a short weekends worth of clothes and utilities.

had the code 38 and hated it, had the bcd 32 and hated it. just picked up a blackdiamond outlaw and haven't found a thing i dislike about it yet. these have all be used while working.

If your after a more general pack, laptops leave ect then have a look at the osprey quasar. It's 30 litres and had 2 separate main sections. Nicely made and the straps are pretty decent for a cheaper pack.

Evoc are always worth looking at, for both skiing and mountain biking. They also have hints of the colourful topo designs you mentioned. Can't comment on durability as i've never used one. I've been using a dakine heli pro bag for around 4 years and can't fault it one bit. Only reason I won't be using it anymore on the snow is because i'm looking at an ABS bag and the heli pro is quite big for a non-backcountry day pack. The evoc add-on bags for the ABS system look so damn good it'd be rude not to get one.

not cheap at all, but im sick of going through backpacks all the time, and the thing seems tough as hell, should work good for my bike commute too. what sold me though was the ability to install and remove different pockets, so you can keep it small and light when you dont have much, or throw some pockets on and carry a shit ton.
