Yo! The broke nerds at BroBOMB are currently fundraising for a new thesaurus, so please buy the following lightly-used equipment in order to fund said purchase - we're trying to get one in every language to expand our reach in emerging markets with a taste for sarcastic commentary on park edits.
Dalbello Panterra 120 - $350 + shipping OBO
New boots from Dalbello for 2013/2014 that are unfortunately just a tad large for me. Based off the Krypton 3-piece shell, this bad larry has a 120 flex, a walk mode, grippier soles for climbing that are also replaceable, avoiding the common Krypton problem of the toes getting ground down but unable to be replaced, adjustable flex, canting adjustment, adjustment heel raiser that raises the boot board to pitch you farther forward, and a fourth toe buckle that adjusts the last from 102 mm to 100 mm. Size is 27.5 with a 318 BSL, and skied about five days earlier this season. The Intuition Powerwrap liners were never heat molded.
Orange buckles in front are for the adjustable last.
Witness, ye, the adjustable flex and walk mode. Set to "soft" because we here at BroBOMB are cowards.
More aggro soles for tromping around on hikes, with replaceable heel and toe treads.
The only damage to the boot is this cosmetic scuffing on the inside from me banging my bow legs together while trying to find the magic carpet.
Lowest price out on these now is around $550, so I'm asking $350 + shipping OBO.
Flylow BA Puffy Jacket - $130 + shipping OBO
A well-made insulated shell from Flylow. 10K/10K with micropuff down insulation, 9 pockets (including two interior mesh pockets that are great for keeping climbing skins warm and dry on the way down), armpit vents, and a powder skirt. A tad short on the length for those who prefer knee-length jacket/skirts.
Flashy red interior. iPhone pocket zipped up in yellow, two climbing skin-sized interior pockets trimmed with grey.
This is about the only cosmetic wear and tear, on the right wrist, after ten days of total use. Because of that I'd give this a 9/10 rating.
Best rate online is $199, so I'm asking $130 + shipping OBO.
Moment Classic Jacket - $80 + shipping OBO
Officially vintage now that Moment's no longer making outerwear, the Classic jacket is one of the few pieces of outerwear made my a ski company geared towards fashion smokers and hipsters. 15K/15K with a very attractive herringbone fabric and a metal zipper that isn't your standard uber-tech ski jacket. Despite that, its fit is definitely baggy and long. Hood is more than big enough to fit your helmet in, pit zips, and wrist gators and spacious hip pockets round out this bad boy.
Jacket interior!
Wrist gators - the fans go wild!!! And a close-up of the herringbone thread...
Given how vintage this thing is, I'm tempted to ask $1000, but instead I'll ask $80 + shipping. It got a season's worth of use but is still in 9/10 condition.
Moment Bantam Pant - $70 + shipping OBO
The Bantam is a 20k/15k pant that is super waterproof and has a pretty wild distressed and waxed polyester fabric that gives the pants a rough, durable feel like a waxed pair of jeans (if such a thing were to exist) that also distresses with use like a pair of jeans would - hence the whiteish coloring around the seams, ankles, and butt pockets. A loose-fitting, baggy pant with copious pocket space, durable ankle gaurd fabric, and inner thigh zips that while not very warm (layer up like you were wearing a shell pant), are durable and waterproof. Good pick for someone from Tahoe or PNW.
Distressed butt pockets... so 2014!
These got a season's worth of use, but some may equate the fashion distressing to more wear and tear, so I'd give these a 7/10. $70 + shipping OBO.
Like I said, all prices have OBO alternatives, and we are willing to trade for thesauruses in Portuguese, Mandarin, or Swahili.
