Okay so I made a little tramp edit the other day from some average shots I had, anyways it seems like when a new frame comes in on the video the other one slowly fades out, leaving a sort of picture trail behind. I'm using sony vegas and i've tried rendering in different formats and shit but nothings worked, any help would be appreciated.

+k for embed... (I should really learn but yeah hahah)
Make sure that the camera is set 24fps/50, 30fps/60 or 60fps/120. The shutter should always be double the frame rate or higher, adjust the iso rather than increasing the shutter speed. Then render in the same format as your camera. I think there's nothing you can do to fix this in post. Check out forums like indy mogul or film riot for better tech support.
